Request Your Intake Visit

New Patient Physician-Led Intake & Care Planning: All care begins with a new patient intake process designed to give Dr. Saint time to understand your history, symptoms, goals, lifestyle, and mind-body phenotype. This physician-led visit helps identify the right starting point for your care and determines what labs or additional information are needed before your personalized roadmap is created. Ongoing care begins after your follow-up synthesis visit, once Dr. Saint has reviewed your intake, labs, and mind-body phenotype.

What’s Included:

  • Pre-Visit Review: Dr. Saint personally reviews your health history, goals, and intake paperwork before your visit. We ask that forms be completed ideally 48 hours in advance so your appointment time can be used as thoughtfully as possible.

  • Physician-Led Clinical Session: A dedicated visit with Dr. Saint to discuss your health story, symptoms, priorities, lifestyle, and wellness goals.

  • Post-Visit Physician Review & Care Planning: After your intake visit and labs, Dr. Saint spends numerous hours between visits reviewing your results and synthesizing your history, lab findings, and mind-body phenotype to create your personalized Health Optimization Report, care plan, and patient roadmap. The report and next steps are reviewed at a separate follow-up visit.

  • Mind-Body Phenotyping: A detailed assessment of your unique mind-body type and how it may guide your path toward vitality, hormonal balance, and long-term health.

Frequently asked questions

Do you take insurance?

Insurance can be used for labs, medications and ultrasounds and other referral services. To provide the highest quality care without the mandated delays and restrictions of traditional insurance, Vitality MD operates as a Direct Patient Care practice. This allows Dr. Saint to spend significant time with you and offer personalized protocols guided by your needs, not a corporate policy. You will always know the cost of your care upfront. VitalityMD does not bill insurance companies directly, nor do we submit authorizations for insurance coverage of medications. However, we can happily provide you with an itemized Superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider. Depending on your specific plan and coverage, you may be eligible for out-of-network physician reimbursement. We also provide receipts for FSA/HSA or can use FSA/HSA payments. Pro Tip: We recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card and asking about your "out-of-network outpatient specialist" benefits so you know exactly what to expect.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

HSA and FSA funds may be used for eligible services, and superbills are available upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement. For additional specialty labs or medications, patients may use insurance benefits when available or choose transparent cash-pay rates.

Do you submit pre-authorizations?

No. Vitality MD is a specialized boutique micropractice, and we do not have the office staff or administrative capacity to submit insurance pre-authorizations. Many pre-authorizations require 6–8+ hours of staff and physician time, and the process has become increasingly burdensome for both patients and physicians. We are happy to provide itemized superbills and receipts when appropriate, but patients are responsible for working directly with their insurance company for coverage questions, reimbursement, or authorization requirements.

Is this primary care?

Vitality MD is not a primary care practice. We are a highly subspecialized women’s health and longevity practice focused on hormone health, metabolic health, and advanced vitality care. We ask all patients to maintain a primary care physician for everyday health concerns, routine preventive care, urgent issues, and general medical questions. Vitality MD does not function as concierge primary care or an on-call medical service, and we are not available for urgent or same-day medical questions. Messages left for Vitality MD should be non-urgent and are answered within 2 business days.

Do you provide gynecological or obstetric care?

Dr. Saint no longer performs obstetric care or surgical gynecological care. She has trusted colleagues she can refer you to, and she also asks that you keep your longstanding gynecologist if you have one, should a procedure or surgical need arise.

Do you offer concierge care?

Concierge care at Vitality MD is not traditional 24/7 on-call primary care. We offer a higher-touch Signature Care experience for patients who want more access and ongoing support. Patients may inquire about Signature Care, and enrollment may also be offered by invitation.

How do I begin?

All care at Vitality MD begins with a new patient Intake Visit with Dr. Saint. This is deep medicine for the discerning patient who is tired of rushed visits and one-size-fits-all care. During your intake, Dr. Saint takes time to understand your history, goals, symptoms, lifestyle, and mind-body phenotype so she can identify the right starting point for your care. Extensive lab evaluation is ordered for patients unless recent labs are already available and clinically sufficient. Labs may be drawn through your insurance or through discounted cash-pay options directly with the lab, including markers related to hormones, metabolism, nutrients, and stress physiology. Your ongoing care begins after the follow-up visit, once Dr. Saint has had time to get to know you, review and synthesize your intake visit, labs, and mind-body phenotype, and create a personalized roadmap for your care. This may not be the right fit if you are looking for fast, discounted online care with unknown rotating providers, minimal training, or limited credentials. Vitality MD is a physician-led boutique micropractice designed for patients who want thoughtful, individualized care with Dr. Saint and her clinical team. FSA/HSA eligible. Superbill provided for potential out-of-network PPO reimbursement. Stop guessing. Start knowing.

What if I need specialty testing?

If specialty functional testing is recommended beyond the initial panel, we will discuss those options and costs with you in advance. You always have the option of trying to use your insurance for these additional tests if needed.

Do you prescribe supplements?

As a holistic, integrative practice, targeted supplementations and lifestyle are often a key part of your care. Dr. Saint will make personalized recommendations for continuing patients working with Dr. Saint, and you can purchase supplements from the source of your choice.

What state do you see patients in?

At this time, Vitality MD sees patients in California only. For telehealth visits, you must be physically located in California at the time of your appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?

We reserve dedicated time for each patient and prepare thoughtfully for every visit. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice whenever possible so we may offer that appointment time to another patient.

What if I have urgent symptoms?

Vitality MD is not an emergency service. If you have urgent or severe symptoms, please call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room.
